Global Investment


	The Global Investment Department (GID) is one of the newest departments within the corporate structure of ADAM. It is entrusted with the prime responsibility of executing the carefully devised Global Investment strategy of the Company. GID comes under the direct purview of the Company's senior management and is managed by a team of qualified and experienced Global Investment professionals. The department operates within a strict risk management framework, and continuously strives to keep pace with the best practices of the Investment industry. The department activities will consist the following:
		Strategic Investments: These investments are aimed at supporting the Company’s long-term expansion strategies.
		Medium-term Investments: The objective of these investments is to earn a sustainable stream of dividends and capital gains upon maturity.
		Short-term Investments: These are trading investments aimed at earning capital gains throughout short investments periods.
		Specialized Funds: Asset management vehicles, which provide opportunity for ADAM clients to co-invest with the Company in various economic sectors around the globe.
		Equity portfolio management: Managing equity portfolio on behalf of clients.
	To achieve the investment objectives of the Global Investment Department, GID employs a professional investment team capable of undertaking all investment related activities of the Company, including investment analysis, due diligence, management, and supervision. Furthermore, the department is effectively seeking to look for new investment opportunities, and it's in the process of studying other regional and geographic expansions looking for the Islamic Investment Services in USA, Europe, and South East Asia.
